Carsten Pieper Another demanding but again very rewarding album by this fabulous band from Spain. Quite hard to categorize, but I think most of bandleader Carlos Plaza's pieces could be justly described as symphonic experimental prog, whereas the 3 parts of
El Quimerista by guitarist César Garcia Forero feel lighter (with a certain Flamenco touch, probably).
Highly recommended! Favorite track: Espejos / Mirrors.
